The week's events kick off with a wine sale on Monday, October 12 -- five percent off everything in the store. Tuesday is a special wine and food pairing for $100 per person. At Friday's wine tasting, customers can enjoy a birthday cake from Andre's and Foo's custard. And a big birthday sale is planned for Saturday. The weekly special is 15 percent of all sparkling wines.

"It's been a challenge in this economy, but since this is my first retail establishment, I have nothing to compare it to," says Andrea Bough, who left the world of real estate law to open the Brookside shop.
She believes that Wine has survived because of her focus on quality and service, as well as wines at every price level.
"We have a knowledgeable staff and we focus on smaller productions and cult vineyards," says Bough.
Wine is sponsoring Taste For the Cure, a special Rose wine tasting this Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
