have you been to either an NBA or NHL game? clearly you haven't, you've only watched the two on television. as an avid hockey player and fan, i'll be the very first person to tell you that hockey is not a sport that translates easily to television. professional basketball, on the other hand, is one of the most boring $45 i've ever spent.

So, is describing the NBA as "gay ass" supposed to mean it's a bad thing? Why do you feel the need to equate something that is "gay ass" as being bad.
I'm sorry to say, hockey would fail here just as much as a bad basketball team. If a subpar NBA team were to relocate to KC it would be the Kings all over again. We are a fickle fan base here. Just look at the Royals' games. With success brings a fan base. If the Supersonics moved to KC, it would help that they have name recognition to local fans in the form of Nick Collison and (most likely)Kevin Durant. Having Ray Allen helps too. I doubt they would be a sellout crowd like Arrowhead, but it would definitely help in adding one more attraction to KC for relocating companies and individuals. We are finally starting to look like a city, instead of pretending to be one, and landing a quality NBA team would only add to that legitimacy.

Checking back I knew there was gonna be some queer that was gonna run his mouth about my comment. I DONT LIKE FAGS AND NEITHER DO 99% OF THE WORLD...People are just to afraid to be real about it and speak their minds. If everyone told it how it truly was they might not need prozak to get through their days. Freedom of speech is a right and more people need to use it. I am a straight male. I like women. I dont care that there are men out there that like men but I can say I dont agree with it and I personally think it is disgusting that a man would choose to kiss another man than a woman. As for the NBA....I will agree that kansas city is a bandwagon ass city and in 85 they were on the royals bandwagon...then when montana came to the chiefs suddenly the chiefs were the main squeeze. I am Not from Kansas city but it didnt take long to see that this city has very few REAL SPORTS FANS. As for the GAY ASS comment. I Dont like gay guys and never will. I think alot of GAY people put on this huge attention show just for the attention and you cant tell me they dont. If they are really gay then fine but it is mainly the attention grabbers that ruin it for you other gays but whatever....It is your choice.
