I am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. As long as GOD gives me life I will do everything within legal means to see that these people do not disturb the funerals of Soldiers that have died so that have the Phelps and Ropers have their rights here in America. If they hate the Country so bad let's give them a one way ticket out of it.
They are using Soldiers funerals to make a point that should be made at their church to the people they have brain washed. They use the same governmental laws to protect themselves that these Brave Soldiers have died for. They judged Rev. Jerry Farwell and my BIBLE says( Thy shalt not judge ). What does theirs say. If they want to preach the Bible, then GO BY IT.

She says "We did our duty today to our God and fellow man. Our job is to cause this nation to know her abomination. The thing they worship, the flag, is worthless. It's a piece of cloth." ...and worshiping fictitious characters is better? She does this for the most selfish of reasons and tries to pass it off as righteous. She does it for her beliefs, in what she believes will be her salvation... I mean she thinks that she is jesus in the market place denouncing commerce, when in fact she is just being disrespectful to "fellow man". Coo-coo for Coco Puffs!

How can freedom of speech continue to protect people like this, while their actions directly affect others by denying the freedom for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Is this freedom of speech, or just freedom to spread HATE? This is the life work of ONE sad sick old man, and need to be seen.
This Westboro Baptist church hates the Gay-Community, African-Americans, Canada, Sweden, the Fire Department of NY, victims of 911, Christian Churches, The Pope, Judaism, America, Our American Troops, and the list goes on and on. Many of the groups they despise are specifically named on their hate propaganda, picket signs, and their many websites. They not only hate, but wish death on all that they abhor.
This sick, so called church spreads its hate through picketing in our streets, provoking attacks, with abusive vulgar language. With an on going hate FAX's Worst of all, they endanger their own young children, having them man the front lines in their combative demonstrations - attempting to create a confrontation and cause for one more of their frivolous lawsuits.
If a mother has given her son to this country and is putting Him in his grave, this is not the time or the place. This is not about protesters, this is about a group that calls that mother a names on the way into a church to say goodbye to that son. We are not talking about FREEDOM we are talking about human decency. This is not about protesting, this is about a life of hate. If you have not seen this group in action I would ask you to. They are not peaceful. They are not a "church". They go after any thing that can get them in the news. I am all for protest when there is a reason, I have been in many. This group will protest anything to get its face on TV or in the news. It is about an old man lost in the darkness of hate, but will put his six year old grandson in danger to save himself. Do we have a real need to protest at any funeral? Is that a real Freedom.
The city of Topeka, the state of Kansas and the U.S. at large, its citizens and their Churches, schools and events are all held hostage by this "hate group" - always at the tax payer's expense. With this group it is just not about Freedom. If they need the freedom to protest, then you take the Freedom of others to MOURN.

I just find it disgusting that so many innocent, good people die every year from random acts of violence and yet no one can manage to put a bullet in these folks.

After I saw the fanatical Phelps brood picket a St. Patrick's Day parade with innocent children marching down the street and having to view the disgusting pictorials of people having anal sex, and chanting "God hates gays". I joined the PRG as well and will proudly ride to disrupt their feeble attempt at spreading their twisted gospel. The sons and daughters and mothers and fathers who fight to preserve the freedom of our country do not deserve to be disrespected in such disgusting manners. Charles Manson and his brood of misfits twisted the bible to their liking and look where they ended up. The world would be a better place with the inbreeding Westboro Fanatical Church behind bars or exiled to a country that no one could understand their expletives...I wonder how long they would last in Iraq?

actually they are happy with their families death. When i saw a documentary on the Phelps family they asked the daughter if she got hit by a car would her father be happy? and she reaplied with a big smile on her face yes, and that she would be going to hell. Also that her father would be very pleased with it. thay are insane.

I have 2 family members in the military and im sorry, but I would be unable to control my rage if she was to go ahead and do this at one of their funerals if they were to pass away. Now im not very religious but I am damn sure that just about every religion would sooner burn this woman than follow in her footsteps. Her death would be a benifit to society.
