Don't sell your dog to this guy

Leave it to KCTV Channel 5 to get the gross new details on the Lawrence guy accused of sodomizing animals. Lawrence police arrested 20-year-old Cem Basoflas, a University of Kansas international student, last week and charged him with animal cruelty and sodomy. Now, Channel 5 gives us all the super-disturbing details in this interview with Midge Grinstead of the Lawrence Humane Society.

Grinstead said the Humane Society was tipped off on the abuse when Basoflas brought in several animals with injuries. She said that since the case had been made public, the group has received a number of calls from people saying they sold their animals to Basoflas through Craigslist.com.

Does anything good come from Craigslist? Best not to wonder about ol' Jake's fate. I'm guessing it wasn't pretty.
