Killa City: Police investigating double homicide outside strip club

Kansas City Police found two men shot to death outside a strip club early this morning. The men -- both black and about 30 years old -- were found in a parking lot shared by Gerry's Silver Slipper and an O'Reilly Auto Parts store.

Officers arrived at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Van Brunt Boulevard at 3:30 a.m. They witnessed a black man drop a gun and run. They ran him down and took him into custody.
In January, three men were stabbed outside of Gerry's. KCTV-5 says one man was stabbed 14 times.
Last March, the city suspended Gerry's liquor license for 10 days following a shooting.
