Killa City: KCMO homicide No. 33

A drive-by shooting yesterday evening left one man dead and another injured. The victims were sitting in a vehicle in the 5900 block of Walrond Avenue around 5:28 p.m. when a man shot them and fled in a red Ford truck.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a lifeless black male lying in the street. The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The other shooting victim was found with non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital. The police say detectives were interviewing witnesses at the scene and the suspected shooter is a black man.
