Mysterious bag found outside of the Federal Building ... what's inside?

A "suspicious bag" was found outside the Federal Building downtown earlier this morning. It was breaking news and all that ... worthy of an e-mail alert from KMBC Channel 9. The streets around the building were shut down for a short time.

I can't remember the last time anything interesting has been found in one of these "suspicious bags." Better safe than sorry and all that I guess.

I hollered over my cube wall to Chris Packham, wondering what he thought was in the bag.

"Hobo underwear," Packham yelled back.

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner.

By the way, if you left a bag around 12th and Locust, you may want to go claim it.
