Dittoheads smear Jason Whitlock
| Rush Limbaugh |
Actually, Whitlock shoots down El Rusho's Rams bid as just a publicity stunt. I'm not so sure about that, given how limp dick Limbaugh once tried to buy the Kansas City Royals (and you thought you hated David Glass).
Anyway, Whitlock raised the ire of the dittoheads after pulling a couple of unsourced quotes attributed to Limbaugh by Jack Huberman in his book 101 People Who Are Really Screwing America. These two:
- "You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray (Dr. King's assassin). We miss you, James. Godspeed."
- "Let's face it, we didn't have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: Slavery built the South. I'm not saying we should bring it back. I'm just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark."

There's a whole lot more.
But Whitlock's choices pissed off Red State's Leon H. Wolf, who decided to take a page from Glenn Beck and the satirical site "Glenn Beck raped and killed a girl in 1990."
You know how easy it would be for me to say, on the front page of this website, that "Jason Whitlock raped a woman"? Then do you know how easy it would be for some jerk with a vendetta against Whitlock to put that in his Wiki article and credit me as the source? Oh, well, I suppose the rumor is out there now. If Whitlock doesn't like it, I guess he can prove it never happened. He'd better get busy accounting for every 30-second segment of his life if he wants us to believe him. We wouldn't want to be accused of giving him "the benefit of the doubt."The Red State commenters delighted in tying Jason Whitlock's name to the word "rapist."
