Christopher first reported his arrest on his blog, filing his report at 5:42 a.m.
Christopher wrote that he was returning home from the Plaza when he "rolled a stop sign" and "drove left of center" on 77th and Booth, and was then stopped in his driveway and arrested.
Christopher wrote (emphasis his own):
When my "mug shot" came out with exaggerated shadows under my eyes, I asked for a retake. Officer Porter -- the victim of my photographing him during the experience -- countered with an offer to reshoot it if I would agree not to use his photos.Christopher wrote that he posted $1,000 bond and is awaiting a court date in Prairie Village Municipal Court.
I did not agree. So the photo was not retaken, even though he agreed the photo of me was unusually inaccurate.
"Are you saying you're going to paint me in a bad light," Porter queried. No way, I answered. Just the facts, man.
