KCPD officer involved in shooting

Police told KSHB that a man wanted for a couple felony warrants agreed to surrender at a house near 7th and Spruce around 6:45 p.m. But the suspect pointed a shotgun at an officer when he exited the home. That's when the officer shot the man in the chest.

The suspect's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and the KCPD has placed the officer on paid administrative leave.
Officers were reportedly investigating a gunfight between two cars, which led them to the east-side home.

Surprise, surprise. One of KCMO's finest trying to pull a suicide by cop routine. Hardly a first for this dirty city. No wonder KCMOPD is still run by the governor's office, along with corrupt St. Louis City, MO.
The evidence room is audited by the state auditor. Who's auditing the auditor, if you catch my drift.
I'm sure the cop was just looking for a paid vacation at the taxpayers' expense. And who's paying the alleged felon's medical bills? Certainly not the city, and certainly not Truman Med or St. Luke's, or Research.
