Killa City: Lavert X. Braswell and Artis M. Johnson charged with killing Dennis Moore Sr.

Two men were charged last week with killing Dennis J. Moore Sr.

Wyandotte County prosecutors charged Levert Xavier Braswell and Artis M. Johnson with first-degree murder in the death of Moore.

Braswell, 20, and Johnson, 18, were also charged with attempted aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and aggravated battery.

Braswell and Johnson are being held in the Wyandotte County jail on $1 million bond each.

Moore, 43, was found dead on October 19 inside a residence in the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue around 12:55 a.m.

KCK police announced in late October that they were looking for Braswell.
