Joaquin Phoenix Ditches Acting and Takes Up Rapping. Of course.
Joaquin Phoenix -- of Gladiator and Walk the Line fame -- has for a long time talked of retirement from acting. As it turns out, he has a backup career in the works ... as a rapper. The London Times reported this week that Phoenix has already given a few performances. The article also includes a recent picture of Phoenix with dark glasses and a small forest of unruly facial hair, making him look like a slimmer version of Rick Rubin.
