Lawrence.com gives up on print

News stands in Lawrence are becoming a little bit emptier. Editor Phil Cauthon announced in a blog today that Lawrence.com will no longer publish its print, er, Deadwood Edition. "It's sad to become the latest casualty of a dying medium," he wrote, "but we're thrilled to be able to continue covering Lawrence arts and culture via our original medium -- lawrence.com, internets edition." Apparently, there's a wake for the paper at 6 p.m. Friday at the Replay Lounge.
