Tonight: Free Scion Party featuring Klever, Kill the Noise and other badass DJs
Scion is currently rolling all over second-city (and third and fourth) scenes. Locally, the car company has already set up its semi-secret beat laboratory. In addition, the keyed-in car co. is sending a pack of electro emissaries around to towns like Boston, Minneapolis, Cincinatti and KC.
Starting at 9 p.m., the Czar Bar is hosting the Scion Metro Tour, which brings a subtly diverse lineup, including headliner Klever from Atlanta, New York techno jammer(s?) Kill the Noise, L.A.'s DJ Haul of hip-hop-flavored act Haul and Mason and Atlantan funkstarter Rob Wonder. Local duo Nomathmatics is also spinning.
There's no charge for the event, but you must RSVP here. Like the flyer says, booty space is limited, so get yours there early.
