Anarchy Tour Diary #11: But for the Grace of God, to Houston

Wayward hip-hop anarchists James Christos, PL and Jamel Rockwell, continue their tour through Texas.

Christos: What Up KC?! It's JC checking in. First let me say Austin is the ish!!! We had two shows and they were both great (shout to Xololanxinxo). It is truly the live entertainment capital of the country.

There's live music on every corner on every street. It was surreal. You can pretty much just walk into a joint and say "I wanna play" and get a show. And they embrace all genres of music. it was ill. We made great contacts there and will be back in the fall. (Shout to MC Overlord).

Our next stop is Houston for a layover until our Mt. Pleasant, TX, date. We almost ran out of gas on the way to Houston. We tried to hustle some CDs to get the gas money. But the little town we were in was not having it. Check the video out.

One thing we have been able to accomplish while on the tour is getting hella Latino followers. They really dig the music. One of the Chicas that worked at the hotel put us onto her boyfriend who is a DJ at one of the Latino clubs in Austin. And he immediately put us in rotation. We had an interview on one of the local Austin radio stations (KAZI 88.7). Those guys are crazy up there. Real Radio Personalities. Not like some of the dry-a** drones we gotta deal with back in the town (excluding KKFI).

Peace.

P.S. What up to Sike. We been rockin' some of his shirts and people love 'em. Hope it gets him some more business. And if it does we'll have to renegotiate our little agreement. LOL. No, but really. HAAAAA!! Christos out!!!
