Word has been spreading around the metro that Wilco has booked a show at the Crossroads KC at Grinders on October 6. But did you know that you can send your request to Tweedy and co. now? That's right, you don't have to wait until you're plowed at the show to begin yelling out ... um ... wait. What songs do people yell out at Wilco shows? "War on War"? Probably not. "She's a Jar"?

Find out what your Wilcoworld buddies are currently in-Clined to hear right now (get it? Nels?) is to vote by filling out this form at the group's tour page. You'll be able to select from a drop-down menu of songs from "A Shot in the Arm" to "You Never Know" and then tell the band why you want to hear it.

Pre-sale begins 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at Front Gate, with the regular sale going up the same time on Saturday.

I put in "Monday" and gave some inadequate reason like "It's my favorite early Wilco song!" (even though that's more or less true), and here are the results, as of this instant:
